She was predeceased by: her son Michael; and her siblings, Carol Garrett, Marie Crandall and John Conarpe. She is survived by: her husband Henry Betke of Coxsackie; her sons, Henry (Irene) of Paris, Alexander of Middleburgh, Louis (Gayle) of Coxsackie, NY and Christopher of Boston, MA; her sister Theresa Watson (David) of Coxsackie, NY.; her grandchildren, Christian Betke, Amy Betke, Alexander Betke II (Jessica), Erik Betke (Stephanie), Jonathan Betke (Emily), Garrett Betke, Tessa Betke, Ella Betke and Michael Betke; her great grandchildren, Gavin Betke, Liam Betke, Kara O'Rourke (Frank), Alexander Betke III, Megan Betke, Brooke Betke, Piper Betke, Otto Betke, Henry Betke, Oliver Betke, Mia Hasty and Martia Dixon; and her great great grandchildren, Sullivan, Jude and Quinn O'Rourke.

Everyone will be required to wear face masks while at the funeral home, regardless of vaccination status, and for those unvaccinated.

Interment will follow in the family plot of The St. Patrick's Cemetery, Catskill, New York, In lieu of flowers friends who wish to remember Virginia may donate to the Heermance Memorial Library in Coxsackie or to the Coxsackie Community Food Pantry.
