With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Silas Aturu Mieses (Coxsackie, New York), who passed away on April 14, 2025 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Silas Aturu may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Silas Aturu touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his parents, Annabel Mieses and Cesar Mieses; his sisters, Lydia and Natalia Mieses; his son Silas Junior; the mother of his child Kaylee Hesidence; and his stepmother Davona Sharrow.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. C Brady Funeral Home (97 Mansion St, Coxsackie, NY 12051).
