It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose E. Martinez (Coxsackie, New York), born in Albany, New York, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Spadaro and Lillian Spadaro (Jones); her son Jeffrey; her brother Michael Spadaro; her sister-in-law Sharon Spadaro; her friend Nancy Camley; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Sapunarich.

She is survived by: her son Charles "Chuck" Martinez (Spring); her adoptive son Elcio Kusma of Brazil; her daughter Maria Celeste; her siblings, Mary Whitney (Dan), Joseph Spadaro (Sally) and Thomas Spadaro (Judy); and her daughter-in-law Penny Martinez. She is also survived by nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Rose wished donations would be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 381025.
