As Joseph departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joseph leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Pratten and Irene Pratten; his former wife Janet Pacejka; and his daughter Nancy Young. He is survived by: his wife Francesca; his children, Rafaella Diershaw (Kris), Joseph Pratten (Sonja) and Gabriella Flach (Mark); and his sister Carolyn Spinney of Coventry, RI.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Community Hospice, Catskill, NY.
