Evelyn Lein Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Lein in Coxsackie, New York, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Giles and Agnes Giles; her husband Terence E. Lein; her siblings, Morgan, Arthur, Robert, Louise Harriet, Agnes and Eleanor; and her pet Beau.
She is survived by: her children, Terry (Deborah Lein) of Hicksville, N. Y., Ken (Jill Lein) of Albany, N. Y., Janice Armstrong of Coxsackie, N. Y., Kathi (Michael O'Connell) of Salisbury, N. C. and Susan (Jeffrey Dvorin) of Phillipsburg, N. J.; her sister Marion (Walter Miros) of Florida; her grandchildren, Madeline (Anna Lein), Eric Lein, Keith (Renae England), Kathleen Armstrong (Rajan Kumar), Marie (Paul Rocco), Charles (Elizabeth O'Connell), Jennifer (Timothy Polley), Erin (Daryl Rota), Meghan (Keith Olson), Frank (Sarah Duffy) and Michelle (Timothy Knoble); and her pet Buddy. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and one due in May, many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of The Coxsackie Senior Center, serving as President for many years, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, St. Mary's R. C. Church and The Vedder Research Library/ The Greene County Historical Society prior to the Covid pandemic.
