It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Carol (Ives) Bates (Coxsackie, New York), born in Catskill, New York, who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sheldon Cammer Ives and Charlotte Louise (Volker); her brother George Forsythe; her husbands, Donald Foster and Dale Bates; her siblings, Dana Ives and Gail Garden; her children, Dawn, Michele, Daniele, Timothy and Devlin; and her grandchildren, Jason, Kim, Kaylee, Jacob and Paige. She was also cherished by grand nieces and nephews and her many cousins and friends.
Her family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) or the American Lung Association.
