He was predeceased by: his father David J. Watson Sr.; his son David J. Watson Jr. (Theresa Watson); and his siblings, Bobby, Janet, Mary and James.
He is survived by: his daughter Michele (Allen Anderson); and his stepdaughters, Caroline and Vivian. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
