He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert P. Sr. Showers and Marguerite Bunnham Showers. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Hummel Showers; his son Robert P. Showers III (Patricia) of Cottekill; his grandchildren, Megan Showers of Hurley and John Showers (Kelsey) of Cottekill; his great grandchild Hailey Showers; his sister-in-law Rose Marie Diamond of Cottekill; and his nephew Matthew Diamond.
