He is survived by: his wife Sandy Pitt; his daughters, Paulette Bannon (Liam) of Harrison and Jennifer Ferraguzzi (Michael) of Mahopac; his stepdaughter Caroline Burrell of Croton; his grandchildren, Anthony Merino, Finn Bannon, Scott Murray, William Ferraguzzi, Zofia Ferraguzzi and Matthew Ferraguzzi; and his brothers, Robert Pitt and David Pitt.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cargain Funeral Homes Inc. - Mahopac (418 US-6, Mahopac, NY 10541). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532). A burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
