He was predeceased by: his father John (Jeanmarie); his wife Helen T. Emmet; his sister Maria Strockis (Vincent); his son Christopher John Weir; and his grandsons, Thomas and Michael Kevin Weir.
He is survived by:, Stephen (Jane), Patricia Deierlein (Charles), Regina Weir and Barbara Liebergall (Philip). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren & 4 great, great grandchildren.
