We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2022, at the age of 68, Jay Mangels of Cortlandt Manor, New York, born in New Rochelle, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Charles Mangels; his close friend Joe Sciacca; and his friends, Joseph Sciacca, Thomas Prosser, Kris Jacobson, Anthony Maggiore (Corinne) and Paul Thomas Kennedy (Eileen).
He is survived by: his mother Claire Mangels (Hacker) of Pauling; his wife Nancy Regina Mangels (McCarthy); his children, Caitlin Ruth Porto (Thomas) of Gansevoort, Casey Jay Mangels (Catalina Florez) of Frederick, Kieran Patrick (Faylo Kennedy) of Broomfield and Colleen Houghten (Justin) of Burnt Hills; his siblings, Steve Mangels and Rebecca Mangels-McManus; his granddaughters, Emilia and Olivia Porto; his siblings-in-law, Lynn, Marion, Lucy McCarthy, Peg Jeffers, Richard, Kevin and Mark McCarthy; his parents-in-law, James Richard and Nuala McCarthy; his pet Scout; and his sister-in-law Mary Frances McCarthy.
