He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Abbey and Dona Abbey (Sands); and his sister Colleen McKay. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Terese Main (Scott) of Chili and Chad (Kimberly) of Cortland; and his granddaughters, Emily, Ashley Main of Chili, Savannah and Madelyn Abbey of Cortland. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
