He was predeceased by: his parents, Michal Protas and Katharzyna Melnick Protas; his sister Yephgania Predko Mikhilovna; his cousin Bishop Baranowski; and his pet Chorney.
He is survived by: his cousins, Ronald (Diane), Donald, Tadek, Bobby Baranowski (Jane) and Krystyna Bower (Bill); his pet Taupek; and his close friend Nancy Kelly.
