He is survived by: his parents, Duane Bernard Smith and Barbara May Oeschle Smith; his wife Theresa; his children, Tamsin van der Woude (Nigel), Meryl and Alex; his granddaughter Eleni van der Woude; his siblings, Kathiann Robinson and Timothy (Sandra); and his nephews, Parker and Preston.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wright Beard Funeral Home, Inc. (9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045). A Mass will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Church (44 N Main St, Cortland, NY 13045).
