It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Tanner in Cortland, New York, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl G. Holmes and Teresa Silvia Holmes; and her siblings, Frank, George, Abbie and Nellie.
She is survived by: her husband Wendell E. Tanner; her stepsons, David L of Cortland and James E (Thomas Mingo) of Erie, PA; her grandchildren, Kristina Tanner Furi of Cortland and Patrick Tanner (Crystal) of Mauldin, SC; her great grandchildren, Zahara of Cortland, Roman of Cortland, Viviana of Cortland, Isabella of Cortland and Etta Petrella of Cortland; and her friend Joanne Tanner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
