She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph A. Hoy and Anna I. Hoy; her former husband Lawrence Riese; her husband Robert Witty; her sisters, Mary Miller and Betty Van Benschoten; and her grandson Al Riese.

She is survived by: her sons, Ralph Riese (Gayle) of Colorado Springs, CO and Leigh Riese (Sue) of Arizona City, AZ; her brother Gordon Hoy (Marie) of Groton, NY; her grandchildren, Ryan Riese (Amy Buggs), Nicholas Riese (Diana), Leigh Gordon Riese (Amanda), Scott Riese (Abby) and Ted Riese; her great grandchildren, Anna Leigh, Philip, Jude, Levi, Elisa Joy, Gloria, Emmitt and Alexander; and her close friend Larry Marsh of Groton, NY.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
