With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Sands in Cortland, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Jeremy Michael Sands; her husband David C Sands; her mother Audrey McCasland; and her stepfathers, Ric McCasland and Gordon Holroyd.
She is survived by: her children, Lorrie Sands Byerly (Dave), David Richard Sands (Angie) and Lynn Schmidt-Bonacker; her sisters, Robin Williams (Dennis), Peggie Petrie (Larry) and Wendy Mauch (Michael); her grandchildren, Dylan Sands, Kayla Sands, Breannah Sands, Abigail Sands, Caleb Sands, Isaac Sands and Hunter Sands; her great grandchild Sophia Sands; her grandchildren, John Williams (Leandra), Elizabeth Rawson, Katelynn Rogers (Erik), Zachary Egan and Rachel Egan; and her great grandchildren, Maude Williams, Mabel Williams, Mirabel Wiliams, Emilli Griffiths, Derick Griffiths, Kyle Griffiths, Izabella Rogers, Alexander Rogers, Elyssa Gerchak and Victoria Schmidtbonacker. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
