She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Mesec and Belena LaPan Mesec; her brothers, Mitchell and Wayne; and her grandson Josh.
She is survived by: her husband Brice Planty; her children, Cindy Kelley, Joanne Planty, David Planty and Scott Planty; and her siblings, Barbara, Sheila, Leshia, Wanda, Michele, Rick, Kevin, Bruce, Gerald and Gary. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
