She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Root and Martha Root (Hay); her stepdaughter Christina; her son Christian; and her siblings, Beverly Marcey, Patricia Mead, Karen Root, Pamela Guy and William Root.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence; her children, Troy Beckwith (Theresa) and Stacey McCall Williams (James); her grandchildren, Corine Morris, Troy Beckwith, Jr., Timothy Carr, Cortney Carr, Jackson McCall-Bush, Lillian McCall-Bush and Merida WIlliams; her great grandchildren, Cadence, Payton, Daven, Olivia, Ila, Blake and Hudson; and her siblings, Carol Gulini, Sandra Tiffany, Jeanne Hulbert, Deanna Gower and Donald Root. She is also survived by friends, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. (9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a donation to be made to a charity of one's choice.
