He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol (Heim); and his parents, Almond Martin and Eleanor Martin. He is survived by: his wife Lois McCool-Martin; his children, Thomas (Laurie Massaro), Patricia Martin, Robin James (Dylan) and Michael Martin (Sarah); his siblings, Richard, Barbara Page (Edward) and Janet Turner (Scott); his grandchildren, Garrett, LeighAnn Anderson (Zachariah), Savanna, Isabelle James and Alexandra Martin; his great grandchildren, Finnegan and Declan Anderson; his stepchildren, Theresa Ferris (Jim), John McCool (Melinda), Scott and Patrick McCool; his stepgrandchildren, Robert, Jamie, Christian, Jessica, Nicholas, Loey, Jimmy, Kate Manglani (Rajeesh), Natalie Hinson (Tyler), Lucas McCool and John Jr. McCool; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Forest, Charlie, Maggie, Emily, Brantley, Ava, Aden, Dominick, Declan, Karlee, Brennan, Alexa, Juniper, Shannon and Molly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Church of Blodgett Mills (3333 Clute Rd, Cortland, NY 13045). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Blodgett Mills Church (3333 Clute Rd, Cortland, NY 13045).
