It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard W. Burnham (Cortland, New York), who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Burnham and Laura Reagan Burnham; and his brother James Burnham. He is survived by: his daughters, Maria O'Gorman (Dean) of Cortland and Melanie Merchant of Virgil; his grandchildren, Dominic, Julia Spaziani, Hannah and Emily Merchant; and his siblings, Mercele Jackson (Keith) of Rochester, Kathleen Clute of Naples, N. Y., Mary Harrold (Chris) of Troy, N. Y., Robert Burnham (Rose) of Ohio and Michael Burnham of Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
