It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Gregory Platt (Cortland, New York), born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on February 25, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard W. Platt and Mary Platt (Brennan); and his brothers, Brian and Michael Platt. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Platt (Conti); his daughters, Jennifer McCall (Trent) and Abby Withey (Brian); his grandchildren, Gabrielle McCall, Cooper Withey and Reid Withey; and his siblings, John Wing Platt (Meta), Geoff Platt (Nancy), Peggy Trivison (Rick), MaryBeth Withey (Carl) and Nona Gormley (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Greg's honor to the Hospice of Cortland County.
