He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. O'Brien and Beulah Alexander (Peg); his wife Donna L. O'Brien; his brothers, Robert O'Brien and James Alexander; and his stepfather Henry Alexander.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Barber (Brian), Karen Griffin (Alan), Kevin O'Brien (Jane), Kurt O'Brien (Mindy) and Koreen O'Brien (Roger Benjamin); his brother Gary Alexander (Virginia); and his brother-in-law Paul Thompson Jr.. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, his 17 great grandchildren.
