It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ralph K. Pitman (Cortland, New York), born in Marathon, New York, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Pitman and Della Pitman (Halcomb); and his siblings, Beryl, Ernest, Ruth, Earl, Nelma, Ina, Lloyd, Reva and Rita.

He is survived by: his wife Sally Sherman Pitman; his sons, John M. Pitman (Denise) and Keith D. Pitman (Nancy); his grandchildren, Lacey Mikochik (Jim), Marci Tompkins (Hollis), Lucas, Isaac, Simon (Sydney), Therese and Rose Pitman; his great grandchild Jameson David Tompkins; and his sister Joyce Barrows.

In accordance with COVID restrictions and out of respect for Ralph's wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Always loved talking to him when he came in the office and his sense of humor and our yearly trip to get the Christmas tree.
