Patrick J. Ryan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick J. Ryan of Cortland, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Ryan and Frances Innes Ryan; his daughter Kim Ryan Leonard; and his siblings, Tom Ryan and Keeney Weldon.
He is survived by: his wife Bev; his children, Mark Ryan (Michelle), Robyn LaVoie (Dana) and Christopher Ryan (Michelle); his siblings, Christine Applegate (Bob), Mary Anne McCloskey (Rob) and Edward Ryan (Cindy); and his brother-in-law Ted Weldon. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Margaret's Church (14 Copeland Ave, Homer, NY 13077). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cortland Elk's Club (9 Groton Ave, Cortland, NY 13045).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Cortland YMCA (c/o Pat Ryan Self Challenge Series) or Hospice Foundation of Cortland.
