He was predeceased by: his parents, Santos Montalvo and Nereida DelValle Montalvo; his siblings, Santos Montalvo and Nereida Flores; and also Fidela Montalvo.
He is survived by: his children, Oswald Montalvo and Stacey Ann Torres; his sisters, Enid Montalvo, Malvis Montalvo and Raisa Miranda; and his goddaughter Adeline Montalvo. He is also survived by grandchildren, and a new great granddaughter.
