She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ferro and Carmela Ferro; her husband Guernsey Dimon; her siblings, Madaline Massaro (late Tullio), Mary Ferro and Anthony Ferro (late Donna); and her nephews, Anthony DiPietro and Shawn Ferro.

She is survived by: her children, John Dimon, Paul Dimon, Michele Dimon-Borowski (David) and Peter Dimon (DeeDee); her grandchildren, Nikkia Borowski, Mischa Borowski, Casey Dimon and Jamie Dimon; and her brothers, James Ferro (Lydia) and John Ferro (Michele). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Contributions in Nellie's memory may be made to Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 1130 Corporate Drive, Auburn, NY 13021.

“Dear Dimon Family, my south end neighbors: I was saddened to read of the passing of your Mom. She was so kind and friendly to me. I remember my mom going for walks with Nellie and being active in the church together. She did a great job of raising you all, her beautiful family! I am sorry to miss her mass as I will be attending a funeral mass in Chittenango for my Aunt. I will be with you in thought and prayer. Peace be with all of you. Cindy O'Mara Ryan”
