She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stanley Edinger and Catherine Edinger (Kate); her spouse Charlie; her children, Erika Withers (Curtis) of Cortland and Patrick Sherman of Cortland; her grandchildren, Lucas and Madelyn Withers; her brother John Edinger; and her niece Samantha Edinger.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of her love for quilting, her family asks for donations be sent to Thumbstall Quilt Guild PO Box 27, Marcellus NY 13108, to be used to create Kid's Comfort Quilts, which are quilts for children who have parents serving in the military, a cause that was very close to Monica's heart.
