She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter L. Cardinal and Doris Cardinal (MacLaughlin); her husband George J. Ferris; and her daughter Kathryn Ferris (Kathy). She is survived by: her daughter Alison Bonawitz (Donald) of Cortland; her siblings, Deidra Taylor (Duane) and Peter M. Cardinal (Pamela); and her pet Peanut. She is also survived by 3 step-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
