With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael P. Andersen (Cortland, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 7, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Andersen; his half-sisters, Gloria Smally and Joan Waruch; and his brother Bobby Andersen. He is survived by: his father Martin Andersen; his wife Aimee Andersen (Roberts); his brother-in-law Jamie Roberts (Jeana); his brothers, Martin Andersen (Lynne), Billy Andersen (Sheila) and Kurt Andersen; his nieces and nephews, Dacia Legge, Christine Ondecko, Vanessa Fitts (Jeffrey), Alaina Denn (William) and Ashley Cootware (Josh); his grandchildren, Casey, Alysah, Eliana, Jonathan, Max, Henrik, Lindsey, Christian and Brennan; and his great grandchildren, Emily and Lucca. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Lung Association and the Cortland YMCA.
