He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard and Inez DeLaughter Cottom Sr.; and his daughter Sheralyn "Sherry" Wasley. He is survived by: his son Kenneth Cottom (Maureen); and his grandchildren, Christine Cottom, Abbygayle Fowler, Benjamin Cottom, Heidi Adams, Sherry Timmons, Susan Recor, Staci Snyder, Kelly Aylesworth and Kimberley Neil. He is also survived by great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
