With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Discenza of Cortland, New York, who passed away on September 20, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Michael Discenza and Josephine Cerio Discenza; her close friend Carole O'Rourke of Cortland; her brother Michael Joseph Discenza (Jacque) of Rochester; her nephew Michael Discenza, Jr. (Cindy Durakis); her nieces, Michelle Woods (Sean) and Amy Discenza; her brother Joseph John Discenza (Linda) of Cortland; and her nieces and nephews, Peter, Patsy and Kara Discenza. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren and siblings.
Contributions in Mary Ann's memory may be made to St. Mary's Parochial School 61 N. Main St. Cortland, N. Y. We will be following NY State Covid Guidelines for both the funeral mass and burial. Social distancing practices will be in place and masks must be worn at all times.
