She was predeceased by: her husband William Butler (Bill); her parents, Orrin Leonard Sampson and Genevieve Conrad Sampson; and her siblings, Orrin Leonard Sampson Jr., David Vere Sampson and Susan Reta Sampson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Butler (John Byroads) of Cincinnatus, Barbara Jones (Walter) of Little York and Deborah Butler-Miller (James) of Little York; her grandchildren, Douglas Potter (Lisa), Matthew Potter (Julia), Erin Wheeler (Ben), Stephanie Hartquist (Beth), Kyle Hartquist, Chelsea Jones, Meagan Hartquist and Rebecca Hartquist; her sisters, Carolyn Waltz (Charles) and Jan Stevens Klempa; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Butler (Terry), Beverly Congdon and Bonnie Coon (Wayne). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
