She is survived by: her parent Marjorie Merchant (Brown); her sons, Edward Grant, Sr. and Taylor Starkey (Timothy Randall); her grandchildren, Edward Grant, Jr., Loki Grant, Klaresa Grant, Lyric Chamberlain and Averyonna Chamberlain; and her siblings, Hubert Merchant (Alice), Beverly Merchant, Jorie Merchant, Chauncey Merchant, Amanda Merchant and John Gaughan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
