Gaines (Cortland, New York), born in Cuyler, New York, who passed away on May 19, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Vandee and Ethel Stage Vandee; her brother-in-law Calvin Gilbert; and her nephew Mark Gilbert. She is survived by: her husband James H. Gaines; her sons, Harry (Naomi) of Taylor and Ivan Gaines (Kari) of McGraw; her sisters, Anna Gilbert of Cortland and Bessie King (Gene) of Virgil; and her grandchildren, Blaine, Kaleb, Olivia, MacKenzie and Lila. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
