Margaret E. Rouse Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret E. Rouse (Cortland, New York), born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on July 8, 2019 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harley; and her sister Mary Jane Johnson. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Lee; her son-in-law Frank Rohde of Cortland, NY; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Rohde (Jeffrey Stock) of Columbia, SC and Matthew Rohde (Heidi) of Fayetteville, NY; her great grandchild Cecelia Margaret Rhode of Fayetteville, NY; and her brother-in-law Duane Johnson of Elmira. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Margaret through donations to the Homer Senior Center, Main St., Homer, NY 13077 or the Cortland SPCA.
