It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola Mumbulo of Cortland, New York, who passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Place and Mary Ann Horvath Place; her son Gary Mumbulo; and her brothers, Donald and Ronald Place.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald D. Mumbulo (Susan) of Dryden, Michael Mumbulo of Cortland and Diane Henry (Randy) of York, SC; her daughter-in-law Melody Mumbulo; her grandchildren, Dillon, Harley Mumbulo, Cody Hastings, Erin Carpenter, Lauren Langdon, Robert Johnson, Hunter MacLean and Kayla Johnson; her brother George Place (Joyce) of Florida; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Place. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests all visitors attending the calling hours to please wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Mumbulo's name may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
