She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Lyon and Ethel Lyon; and her sister-in-law Katherine Chayka Lyon. She is survived by: her son Steven Stearns; her siblings, Gary Lyon, Ronnie Lyon (Kathie), Perry Lyon (Michelle), Ray Lyon (Nancy), Sue Burhans (Bob) and Denise Powers (R. J.); and her pet Onyx. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home (9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc. (9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045).
