He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Strauf and Fern Hicks Strauf; his wife Mary Strauf; his daughter Mary Calhoun; and his siblings, Glen Strauf, Clarence Strauf, Jonathon Strauf, Gerald Strauf, Lewis Strauf and Dorothy Epp.
He is survived by: his children, William Strauf (Margaret), Robert Preston, Melodie Robinson and Sharlene O'Brien; and his grandchildren, Allyson Bervetti and Daniel Strauf.
