With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lauren Cooper (Cortland, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lauren left this world on February 13, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cooper and Grace "Bernice" Cooper; his siblings, Donald Cooper and Dawn Austin; and his great-nephew Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Heidi Cooper; his children, Tara Wilhoit (Jeff Bushnell), Erin Cooper (Bill Vondenkamp) and Scott Cooper (Marlene Cooper); and his grandchildren, Sierra Wilhoit, Zackery Wilhoit, Scott Passalugo and Paige Vondenkamp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc. (9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New York State Veterans' Home in Oxford: 4207 State Hwy 220, Oxford NY 13830, Attention Music Therapy Program.
