He was predeceased by: his grandfather Ed Keller. He is survived by: his wife Danielle; his parents, Alan VanDonsel (Andrea) and Shirley VanDonsel (Greg Hyde); his daughter Holly VanDonsel; his grandparents, Leo VanDonsel, Marietta Aldrich, Don, Vivienne Lawson and Joyce Keller; his children, McKenna, Camryn and Delana; his siblings-in-law, Spud and Crystal Smith; and his brother Scott Brennan. He is also survived by Numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Holly VanDonsel Education Fund at the Syracuse Fire Department Credit Union, located at 211 Wilkinson Street, Syracuse, NY 13204, or Stack Up, an organization that supports US and Allied Veterans by promoting positive mental health and combating veteran suicide through gaming.
