It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Wetherell of Cortland, New York, who passed away on June 16, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wetherell and Audrey Schwanke Wetherell; and his siblings, Philip and Nancy Wetherell. He is survived by: his wife Devera Wetherell; his children, Meredith Benesch (Andrew), Sara Showens (Howard), Joanne Wetherell (Martin Jones) and David Wetherell; and his siblings, Laurel Bearup (Bill), Gary Wetherell and Marcia Carter (Daryl). He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
