She was predeceased by: her parents, Reed Johnson and Maude Ellis Johnson; her husband Ronald Rutan; her brother Marvin Johnson; her nephew Donald Knapp; and her great-niece Kelly Hamilton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Irving (William) and Susan Teeter (Dean); her stepchildren, Sherry Smith (Ronald), Larry Rutan (Darla) and Raymond Rutan (Terri); her sister Juanita Knapp; her niece Linda Cooper; her grandchildren, Travis Teeter, Dena Yager (Matthew), Jeffrey Irving (Jamie) and Michael Irving (Julianne); her great grandchildren, Aiden, Dylan Teeter, Chase, Parker Irving, Robert, Nichole Irving, Edan and Brian Yager; and her close friends, Marge Peck and Iva Little.
