It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ira D. James of Cortland, New York, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ira James and Eloise Talley James; his wife Tillie Cooper James; his children, Cecelia Singh (Sati) of Charlotte, NC, Sam Cooper of Dryden, Randy Cooper (Jeanette) of Homer, Sibbie Lemus of Lake Katrine, Teddy Cooper of Cortland and Tiffany Martinez (Clay) of Dryden; and his siblings, Dale Beck of Michigan and Mona Shoap of Michigan. He was also cherished by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
