He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Clarke and Martha Clarke; his brothers, George and Philip Clarke; and his sister-in-law Mary Papalia Clarke.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Guingo Clarke; his sister Mary Alverson (Frank); his sister-in-law Joan Clarke; and his brothers, Milo Clarke, Ted Clarke (Kumiko) and Richard Clarke (Yuki). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
