She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Ketola and Laura Ketola (Matison); her husband Robert Shaffer; her son Randall Shaffer; her siblings, Sylvia Root, Einer Ketola and Sadie Proctor; and her grandchild Shannon A. Lateer.
She is survived by: her daughter Victoria Shaffer; her grandchildren, Desiree Smith (Chris), Heidi Shaffer, Toria Curbelo (Mike) and Dante Fezza; and her great grandchildren, Isaiah and Melody Lateer.
Due to Covid restrictions, the family has requested for only close family and friends to attend.
