Gary Lee Dawson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lee Dawson of Cortland, New York, who passed away on December 10, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gary Lee may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Dawson (West) and Leon Dawson; and his sister Dawn Heath. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Danielle Campbell (Sean) of Mission Viejo, CA and Terry Dawson (Patty) of Cortland, NY; his granddaughters, Raina, Bailey Campbell and Livia Dawson; and his brother-in-law James Heath. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
