With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Eckert of Cortland, New York, born in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 19, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerard Lawrence Eckert and Verna Anna Eckert (Yourns); his wife Mary Margaret Eckert (Hoffman); his daughters, Molly Harrington (Mark) and Kim Kelchner (Christopher); his grandchildren, Kyle Harrington, Megan Harrington, Kristoffer Kelchner (Kayli Holbrook), Aaron Kelchner and David Kelchner; his great grandchild Harper Kelchner; and his siblings, Linda Waldvogle (Michael), Alvin Eckert and Dale Eckert (Dale-Ann).
Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to donate to St. Anthony's Church of Cortland.
