He is survived by: his wife Josephine Cherchio; his daughters, Renee Boone (Keith) and Susan VanDemark; his grandchildren, Michael Boone, Nicole Boone, Thomas Poitras (Tana) and Andrew Poitras; his great grandchildren, Thea Poitras and Thomas Poitras; and his sister Marilyn Rosato. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Riccardi Funeral Home (69 N Main St, Cortland, NY 13045). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (50 Pomeroy St, Cortland, NY 13045).
