He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gertrude Kaplan and John Fitzpatrick; his wife Suzanne Compagni Fitzpatrick of California; his children, Cory Fitzpatrick of Georgia and Erin Fitzpatrick (Joe Cosenza); his grandchildren, Logan and Sabine Cosenza of New Jersey; his siblings-in-law, Joseph Compagni (Katherine) and Deborah Mastronardi (Jim); his nephews, Stephen Compagni and Garrett Mastronardi; and his niece Laura Compagni.

Donations in his memory can be made to a charity of one's choice.
